The geology nerd in me knows how these rock formations form, but the artist in me wants to look into something deeper. This is Arch Rock in Joshua Tree National Park—one of the more tourist visited attractions of the park and probably one of its most photographed rock formations. I wanted to take a different approach with the same sentiment that I approached my other images in this collection. To me this was something grander. Something beyond human. Something heavenly. Nature, God, Aliens, whatever you want to believe in, this was crafted by the hands of a higher being.
